I was told to bring racing or wrestling shoes for a one day race experience?
Ya I wore them when i was driving karts they are very thin soled so you can feel the pedals better but now i've moved up into a car so I went out and got some fireproof shoes, also very thin.

This is so dangerous that it only happens in certain kinds of auto racing like NASCAR and Touring Car. In other kinds of auto racing like F1, it fucks you up because your air intakes are sucking up the exhaust fumes and your engine chokes on the “dirty” air because it doesn’t have enough oxygen.
