Crankshaft Stroker If my car has a 383 stroker crankshaft would it need a deeper oil pan other than the stock one?
Only if there is a clearance issue with the counter weights and the oil pan. Higher volume oil pans give a better chance the pan is the lowest point on the vehicle, which is down right scary, if it is street driven. Measure twice and buy once!

What is the fastest chevy you have owned?
Give me some specs.. Motor and modifications, horsepower, 1/4 mile time and speed, tires wheels.. i want to know it all
ex. I have a 1999 corvette, 402ci stroker, custom ground lunati cam, lunati 4" crankshaft, lunati H beam rods, wiesco 11.1:1 pistons, edelbrock 230 heads.. all of this is good for 658.9 hp 10.2 second 1/4 at 130 on street tires not drag radials or slicks. Not a daily driver but definately my weekend special
first i'll say thats an impressive build.. now i say i can beat that
99 camaro- LSX 454- AFR 245 heads, GMPP rotating assembly 11.4:1 compression, custom grind Mast camshaft, FAST intake manifold.. all of this is good for 743.9hp.. 9.6 1/4 mile.. and i believe it was at 140.3 mph.. i run BFG drag radials but i still get alot of slip if i'm not careful..
