Drag Car How to tune drag car on Need for Speed Prostreet?
I need help to tune my supra that's for drag racing. I have all the level 4 packages. Is there different ways to tune for regular drags opposed to wheelie comp's? If you answer, please give me the %'s of the tuning. Thanks
swap your tier 4 suspension to a tier 2, it will handle much better. I checked out you tube for drag tuning pro street supra, and got mine into the 5's with what i saw. Just off the top of my head though, your turbo top bar, almost all the way to the right, bottom bar, all the way right, timing all the way to the right, tires, max inflation, and as wide as possible for the rear, and skinny as possible on the front, all gears should be almost to the left side of the bars, that's about all I can recall right now, check out you tube, it will show you the complete set up for the supra~ as well as some awesome vids. As for wheelie cars, the 69 Camaro is the best, it will easily do 1338 each pass. No NOS needed, with just the basic setup.

How does the nose of a drag car stay on the ground when the engine torque is lifting it up?
I'm asking specifically about rail drag cars (the long ones). The large engine should be lifting the front wheels off the ground and right over the car but they don't seem to.
What is the physics involved in this? DO NOT give me an answer about aerodynamics, I'm talking about before the car gets up to speed. I've seen some with wheelie bars and some without. I've also seen some with nothing more than "trolley" wheels at the front. How do they do the weight balancing? It takes just 15/100ths of a second for all 6,000+ horsepower of an NHRA Top Fuel dragster engine to reach the rear wheels.
So please stop saying that the spoilers keep it on the ground. I'm thinking that weight must added to the nose.

for a 1500hp rear wheel drive drag car, you are correct. it would be a respectable time, but still a “slow” time. however, for a All-wheel drive sports car running on 19 inch tires, it is pretty damn quick!
