I have a 2003 mustang gt with an exhust and cai. Can I beet a new Z06 in a drag race?
I'm talking in the 1/4 mile. I know my car will probably destroy a wrx sti, or any car like that, but would it be a formattable race between a mustang gt and a corvette z06?
Probably not, even thought the mustang is a fast car. A mustang has a 4.6 litre motor while the corvette has a 7.0 litre motor. Also a stock corvette almost already has a cai and exhaust in addition to many other mods. The mustang that was designed to compete with a corvette would be the shelby or roush 427 versions. Have fun with the mustang, and you would definitely destroy every car below a corvette. Try competing against a charger r/t!

1/64th Invitational (my top 4 for August) Drag Race
Okay so here's kinda what happened, this guy pulled away from a green light very quickly, only to have to stop at a red light that was very close, but I went slowly and so at the next light was able to go faster than him…and apparently he wanted to drag race more or was mad, because he started honking at me. I don't know, but it made me laugh! And it made me make sure my lights were on haha!

Actually none of them. Maybe Get Smart but I find it sort of offensive to remake such a classic.
I don't think Hollywood makes any movies that are good and 'quiet' anymore. They stopped because the studio heads have to make money or they get fired thanks to all the major studios being run by giant companies. In the same way that a big corporation wouldn't keep someone around that bought a piece of land for a store that turned out to be swampland the big companies aren't willing to give the execs a second chance. So the studios play it safe and release expensive movies that are loud and will definitely bring a profit. That means the movies are either big blockbusters or dumb stuff that appeals to the lowest common denominator. The movies won't change society or be remembered as art but they will make money.
I don't blame them. It's just sad is all.
Perhaps you can invest in some earmuffs that reduce the decibel level if you really need to see movies with a big group of strangers. Then you can see The Dark Knight in peace.
Any hope you'd have for 'quiet' and 'good' movies would be in the fall around the deadline for the Oscars.
Burn After Reading will probably be good. But that's in September.
