drag race Is it truly wrong for women to drag race?
Ya'll have helped a little but my girl child thinks this is a mid-life crises because I am 45 and she's pregnant with her first child! I raced when I was younger, but the oppertunity came back into my lap again. It would top-fuel and I would have my own crew thanks to the original driver. He wants to quit driving,but called me and asked if I was still interested? Heck yeh I am, but again my pregnant daughter thinks I'm having a menopausel breakdown what do ya'll think?
Of course its not wrong!....you answered your own question with the line...'the opportunity came back into my lap; again'....listen, it sounds to me like this is a god given 2nd chance for you to do something you love.....go for it...enjoy every minute of it....maybe your daughter should concentrate on the arrival of her new baby and not the harmless enjoyment of a great pasttime for her mum....good luck with it all.

Would it hurt to drag race a camaro with T-tops?
I am getting ready to get a camaro and I have heard that if it is a convertable or T-tops that there is so much torque that it can hurt the car. Is this true? If I get a camaro with T-tops, will it be ok to drag race?
if your under about 500 horsepower, i wouldnt worry about it. think of all the convertable cars with more then 300 horsepower, viper, vette, lambo, just to name a few.
