Which sport is best for viewing on tv and in person?
Tough choice for big sports fans. Tv I prefer NFL, NHL, FORMULA ONE, AMA SUPERBIKE, NBA, and MLB in that order. In person would be NFL, NHL, MLB. Never been to an NBA game as we've no team here in Pittsburgh. And never attended a racing event except drag races. Im not much of a fan of other sports like nascar or soccer.

What were you looking for, people to completely agree with you? Sympathy? Fuck dude, bicyclists of all kinds get a bad rep because of people who ride irresponsibly. Doing so endangers you and others on the road (pedestrians can and do die when cyclists run into them). Also motorists will be affected if your ‘fun’ goes wrong. When you get on a road you’re entering a system where your fun is not as important as the safety of everyone involved. Suppose people who drag race cars or just drive fast in general defended their action by calling it harmless fun. Sure it’s dangerous, but they just want to have fun.

Actually none of them. Maybe Get Smart but I find it sort of offensive to remake such a classic.
I don't think Hollywood makes any movies that are good and 'quiet' anymore. They stopped because the studio heads have to make money or they get fired thanks to all the major studios being run by giant companies. In the same way that a big corporation wouldn't keep someone around that bought a piece of land for a store that turned out to be swampland the big companies aren't willing to give the execs a second chance. So the studios play it safe and release expensive movies that are loud and will definitely bring a profit. That means the movies are either big blockbusters or dumb stuff that appeals to the lowest common denominator. The movies won't change society or be remembered as art but they will make money.
I don't blame them. It's just sad is all.
Perhaps you can invest in some earmuffs that reduce the decibel level if you really need to see movies with a big group of strangers. Then you can see The Dark Knight in peace.
Any hope you'd have for 'quiet' and 'good' movies would be in the fall around the deadline for the Oscars.
Burn After Reading will probably be good. But that's in September.

Actually, the hot-rod analogy is very good, as Diana A says. We are the rusty hot-rod. Loved by the hot-rod lover. He changes us. We will not clean ourselves up.
However, often the Christian world is guilty of demanding that the hot-rod go clean him/her-self up. We are quick to take on the role of God in judging the condition of the other hot-rods. We are slow and often absent in taking on the more difficult role of loving them (the widows and orphans for instance).
