I have been a drag racer since the 1970's and build race motors for that, I guess you just don't get it, when I build a motor that is better than a competitor there is a lot of pride in that! You should attend a motorsport before condemning it. I don't like tennis but don't make remarks about why would anyone want to knock a ball back and forth, it's what they like (my wife included) so I respect their desire to watch.
