first, figure out the acceleration necessary
d = 1/2 a t²
therefore a = 2d / t²
a = 2* 1000 / 144 = 13.89 m/s^2.
We can get into discussions about normal forces, etc, but everything cancels out and in the end, the coefficent of friction is a/g = 13.89/9.81 = 1.42
