what better to us for drag racing in a truck?
I have a 2000 gmc sierra with all the bolt on madifications is it better to use 2 or 4 wheel drive when drag racing
I'm not calling anyone an idiot but I will make a point here. You W I L L lose power if you lock it in 4wheel drive because a lot of your power will be going through the front axles and the transfer case. You need your power getting you down the track the fastest, not turning front tires. It's true that you won't be spinning in 4wd, but unless you have one hell of a motor, you're not going to be spinning that much anyways. Leave it in 2wd and feather the throttle out of the hole until you reach the non-spinning threshold. If your truck is pretty quick with all the mods, why don't you install a locker in your rear axle? You'd have posi traction then and wouldn't have to worry about it.

It has to be a current production motorcycle. And which engine configuration do you think is best for street drag racing?

I never had the knowlage as my dad had with electric power. Even though I got to build, and drive/ride just about all the ones we made together.
