Should I join my friends in street drag racing?
I am a sophomore in high school and just got my drivers license a few weeks ago. Now a bunch of people who are my age are getting their licenses. People keep asking me if they want to drag race on some road near the edge of the town I live in where almost nobody drives. I want to say no because I don't think its safe it all, but I'm afraid I will let them down. I just tell them IDK I will see what happens. What should I do?
Stay behind the wheel for awhile before you starting racing, PERIOD, bud! Yes, it can be fun (loads of fun - trust me I know), but it is also very dangerous. I'm NOT saying "don't do it". I'm saying, "get some experience with REGULAR driving before you attempt racing". You have to have a complete understanding, feel, and handle of the car (and all rides are different). THIS IS WHAT YOU DO: In the meantime, Tell you're friends the TRUTH: That you are going to get a feel of being behind the wheel BEFORE you race. (and I'm not talking about a week to a few months. I'm talking a MINIMUM of a YEAR before you start racing, AND when you do - take it easy at first - this means with the driving AND locations AND how often - take it easy with all of it AT FIRST!) If you do things right, AND you have a true passion for automotives, you're on your way to being a success at street racing.
In the meantime, you can also hang out at these locations - customize your car - read up on mags and interenet, research autos & underground stuff in your area, etc. etc. SO MUCH TO DO BEFORE YOU START RACING!

What is the difference between drag racing and drift racing?
I wanted to know what the difference those two are?
Drag racing is when to cars side by, side, race from a standing
start in a straight line, usually for a distance if a quarter mile..
The fastest reach speeds of over 300 mph (about 480 kph), and
can cover a quarter mile from a standing stop, in 4.5 seconds..
Drift racing is done by front, or rear drive sports cars, and sport
sedans.. It's done on courses that can be in a stadium, or a large
parking lot.. The course is marked using pylons (rubber cones), or
other soft objects, and the cars run two at a time, racing each other
through the turn.. They throw the cars into the turns in a manor that
causes them to slide, often side, by side, as in a ballet, while racing..
The drivers are trying to beat each other to the finish, but they are
also judged on the style of the sidewards DRIFTS while turning, with deductions for hitting obstacles..
Please pardon the rudeness of some of these folks.. They they think
it's a prerequisite for being an F1 fan.. But I can assure you, that people like that are not representative of any real race fan..

game companies will always have similar titles. I haven’t kept up with all the games but I know there are at least 2 modern combat fps’s, multiple ww ii fps’s, multiple street racing games. i’m not sure if i would call 20 million sales a failure. i would say people voted 20 million times they don’t care if it’s unoriginal as long as they have fun playing it.
Why did they put “the Gospel” and “time and eternity” in quotes? Is it an editorial mark letting the critical reader know that Ron really said “drag racing” and Harry said sweethearts for “good lovin’ “?
