drag racing formulas
kirby`s air ride question?
my sister wants to beat one of the challenges where you have to win drag race 1 in under 17 seconds on a formula star. she is very frustrated because either she gets formula star and not drag race 1 or can`t find formula star at all. for any who have beat this challenge, how have you done it?
i know what u mean. very hard for me to beat it. i played for 4 hours straight. not much you can do. i`ll offer you some tips:
- at the options screen, be sure to have the time limit on 7 min. give yourself enough time to collect as many speeds, boosts, and battery (charges) as you can.
- have some level one cpu's playing with you. more vehicles will appear if they are playing and plus if they get more speeds then you, you can always knock them around and get some.
- have the events turned off. i found it very annoying when i needed speeds and they were either bouncing around or i was getting attacked by meteors.
- play for awhile. i found after the first hour had passed, i was able to find a formula star everytime i played.
- play with someone else (like your sister) so that you can grab the formula star and just idle somewhere. the formula star isn`t great for steering and collecting items so let your sister collect as many speeds, boosts, etc as she can on a fast vehicle. then near the end of the game, have her jump off and get on the formula star. that way she`ll have al lthe items and the formula star.
it does get a bit frustrating after spending all that time colelcting items & getting the formula star and then you find it`s not drag race 1 but keep at it. you'll eventually get it!
