Is there a place in washington where i can drift, race, etc?
Im from the seattle area and was wondering if theres a place i could go out to do a little drifting, eacing on my car for a video. I know of a place in kent which is a drag strip, but i dont need a drag strip. Any suggestions?

i was obsessed.. then i found Tyra's twitter account and shes all over it dropping hints that she won… so i stopped watching.
If you don't 'get' cars, chances are high that you won't 'get' drag racing.
My Mother is someone who 'doesn't get it'. She can't understand why some people spend so much time, money and energy on second cars that live in the shed 80% of the time, while she uses her simple sedan to get from A to B and nothing more. She doesn't understand why my Dad and I have hotrods as well as daily drive cars…but it's too hard for us to explain to her because it really is just one of those things. Some people love animals…some people hate them…some people get really excited over cars, some people don't see it at all. Depends on what pushes your buttons and how you get your jellies off. For my Dad and I, it's something special…when he was 15, he was living in a small town where the only really interesting thing to do was work on cars and race them. So that's what all the young people did. Then when I was 14, I bought the same model car that he had for his first car…so it's 'our thing'.
It's a little bit about being competitive, but it's mostly about showing off your ride. In the case of my Dad, he considers his car to be his hobby. He's always working on it, changing things about it, making it better. So taking it to the track to enter the drags is a way of showing off, a way of impressing both himself and others. It's also a way to have fun, sort of like a pay-off to all the hard work and push the limits. Alot of people also use their automobile as a kind of extension of themself…I know a professional race car driver and he is a super nerd. So racing for him is about showing people what he's capable of.
