best drag racing oil
Do I have to break in a new engine?
I just bought a new car, Honda Accord if that makes any difference. I am not sure if I need to break in the engine like in the old days.
The salesman tells me to go with the oil minder on the dashboard. Should I change the oil at 500 or 1,000 miles to be extra safe? Can't hurt right?
I don't do much drag racing, as you might have guessed given that I bought an Accord. Do I have to drive like a little old lady or can I drive normally? You know five or ten miles over the limit?

The longer you drive 'carefully' the better. The most damage is done in the first 30 seconds, so let the engine idle for that long and then smoothly go. Honda's are pretty bullet proof, but an oil flush and change at 1,000 miles then every 6,000 or one year whichever comes first will be good. Add some fule tretment via fuel tank every 6,000 miles too and it'll probably never let you down. happy driving

Bracket Car for Drag Racing?
I got a a 94 Camaro 3.4sfi for my nephew to race it runs 11.00's in the 1/8th but not consistent. Does anybody know a few tricks to speed it up and keep consistant? I have a small transmission leak that just started i need to check it out in the morning.I put a new K&N Air filter and new plugs ,oil & filter,alternator,battery, transmission filter kit and finally got the thing to stop spining off the line.Also when it spins does it make it shift different?i run 100 octane in it to is that bad for it? Also just would like to add he was .046, 025,014, And 000 at the tree on his first day out.

100 Octane? Octane does not make more power in a stock engine..read this article You may actually be retarded as far as timing goes with such high octane.
