drag racing reaction time
whats your opinion.............?
ok here is my question or thought which ever you want to call it....i know that nascar put limits on how much hp could be run in all cars to keep the accidents down to a min but didnt it make the company's years ago do more research to make more hp and better mpg and better handling at high speeds. im just a kind of school guy who thinks the one that can make a faster car should be allowed to that would make the other company's come up with something better...like in drag racing the one that has the fastest car and the fastest reaction time wins they have made safety changes by leaps and bounds not to take away from nascar because they have done it to just want to get it back to the power of the car and the car driver that can handle it.i think the consumer would benefit from the competition
NASCAR isn't trying to make the racing safer by limiting each manufacturer's horsepower. They're trying to keep the racing competitive so it's more appealing on television. This has probably led to more accidents because the cars are so evenly matched that the drivers can't spread out and avoid each other.
You should like you would be more interested in Formula 1 or ALMS.
