Chillin' in the hotel room and getting ready for the day while watching qualifying for the US Nationals. Drag Racing is bad ass!
I agree that watching a WHOLE race can me boring. Heck half the time I take a nap through it. But in general NASCAR or any type of auto racing for that matter is very family friendly. Drag racing is more fan friendly since the fans can get up close and personal with their drivers. That doesn't happen as much with NASCAR because the drivers are inside the track and the fans on the outside.
And yes dirt track racing, IMCA, is the best kind of racing!
i don't agree that adding turbos means the engineers got lazy, but i do agree that the veyron isn't that great of a car. personally i think its ugly.
its supposed to be a car that's fast and has luxuries, which it is. but because of the luxuries the veyron is HEAVY! so yea it doesn't have the greatest handling. it isn't even the fastest car in the world anymore so…
I totally understand the concept but when I'm walking briskly on my treadmill at a 3.3 pace, it seems a bit out of my league to envision 5 or 6 or more………. sigh And I HATE it when some young snarf hops on, puts on the headset, and TAKES OFF !!!!!!!!!! Drag racing on the treadmills and in life – yep, we all do it. Reminds me of the time I slid right off the back at the rec center – humility lesson

For the first time in forty years we’ve had an interesting race at Monaco and that had to happen! I still say make Monaco timed eliminations (like drag racing) but with each set of two cars starting thirty seconds apart (Fastest qualifier chooses position). It would also be valuable from Monaco’s gamblers point of view being able to bet on each race and make for an all over more exciting spectacle.
