Buying a Yamaha YFZ 450?
A friend of mine i work with has a Yamaha YFZ 450, its either an 05 or 06 (he couldn't remember at the time). I was thinking of buying it from him. He wants $2500 for it. It has a Curtis Sparks Full System Exhaust with Header, jet kit, most of the frame is powder coated, custom engine mounts, adjusted timing chain, intake, 3 sets of tires (mud, street, sand), custom handle bar, and struts to replace the shocks if you wanted to drag race it. I havent got to look at it yet, but im going to on Thursday afternoon. He only rode it for about a year and then stopped riding it alot. He said he will also take it and have the oil and gas changed and all the filters changed too before i buy it. Does this sound like a good deal or am i being ripped off?
He never actually took it out to drag race it, he just has the struts just in case he ever did.
