How long does it take the current space shuddle to become supersonic after liftoff?
Are the "G" forces more than what they would feel in a top fuel dragster?
It takes about 45 seconds after liftoff for the shuttle to exceed Mach 1 (also known as the speed of sound or going super sonic)
I don't know how many G's are felt in a top fuel dragster, but I can tell you that astronauts experience a maximum of 3 times the force of gravity during launch in the space shuttle because this is all that the shuttle can withstand
