What is there to do in Wichita or Topeka Kansas?
I've found some stuff on line but if you've been to these places or know of some fun things to do for the whole family (kids 3 & 6 yrs) please give me your opinion. Let me know what we have to see and where not to waiste our time.
Wichita:
Kansas Kids Unltd. More than a Museum, Kansas Cosmosphere & Space Center, Old Cowtown Museum, Museum of World Treasures, Exploration Place, Kansas Splashdown Indoor Water Park, Salt City Splash Aquatic Center, Clearwater Aquatic Park.
Topeka:
Mini-Train, Carousel in the Park and Gage Park,
Heartland Park (Jr dragsters),
Combat Air Museum
Our kids also love go-karts and mini golf if you know of any in the area.
OK, in wichita, I have been to the Old cowtown museum. they are great if you are into the time period. Check their schedules, as they sometimes have live performances. Museum of World Treasures has just about everything. If you like old stuff and ancient artifacts, they are the place to go. Exploration place is a must for kids and adults. It has so many educational things that are alot of fun. I have not been to any of the water parks but you said the kids love go karts, so I would suggest All Star Sports. They have go karts, mini golf, a climbing wall, and a cheap lazer quest (not reccommended). Their site is www.allstarwichita.com. Once there click on all star adventures, as that is the better one. I'm not sure about Topeka, but I hope this was of some help.
