  #37, fully agree !btw .. Wise words from Bernie to spice things up:Make the front wing smaller and ban the double diffusers! One more suggestion from my humble sight: make the back wing lower and wider, like the 2008 version and boy will we be looking at nice and great racing cars which will be doing overtaking!!

  Yup, you're right. 7 Up, Coca Cola, Beta Utensili, Canon, Orange, Elf, Leyland, Benetton, etc. all looked great on racing cars. But the reason I praised the distinctive tobacco liveries was that I was trying to find something to speak for tobacco sponsorship when the arguments are all rightly weighed against it. It shows there is nothing worthy to speak about tobacco sponsorhip. It's gotta go and no team, not even Ferrari, can bend the rules.

  Now when will they remove that rectanular box as well?

  The behaviors you are describing are typical of a OTTB. They are issues that can be fixed with patience and effort. Most of the nipping and biting, especially when being tacked is a threat and a reaction tp his handling. TBs are known to be more thin skinned that others and being cinchy as you describe. The nipping reaction is because he is anticipating what he had at the track and that it is going to be uncomfortable.

  Do all things slowly. You will also probably notice that he will not be real fond of being curried either, but the soft brush will be his friend.

  When you saddle him, take it slow and reward for the positive behaviors. When you first put on the saddle, leave the girth loose and reward if there is not reaction. Let him look and even if he pins his ears as long as he is not nipping, it is fine. If he looks to start nipping, wave him away. Then stretch his front legs before tightening his girth.. . .Then tighten it more after you have made sure that you won't be pinching.

  Biting and nipping will be changed. You will notice that as you bond with him, the ear pinning and such will go away with you. They may still be present with strangers. He is doing a lot of threatening. Once you are his and he trusts you, he will then try and protect you from others.

  He sounds like one I got off the track. To put it in a nutshell, this will be great. Mine was my all around horse. He was an awesome h/j, does well in novice eventing and dressage well he is OK but it isn't his strong suit.

  Would I do it again? YES. I have had him for 15 years and he is still amazing. Note: he is now friendly with most and doesn't have any issues in pasture
