i'd like to do a few laps in a racing car! i'm not that keen on flying so that would freak me out and i can't swim very well so i would be worried about drowning so i think the racing car would be the best option for me!

should there be a age limit for auto racing?
at toronto motor sport park on sunday oct,1 2006 kendall herbert lost her life drag racing a jet car dragster at the age of 17 years old,should these kids be allowed be drag race esspecilly at the speed she was travelling between 480 km to 500 km an hour .kids at this age don't have the experience to race at these speed.plain and simple their not mature enough! do you agree or disagree ,whats your opinion!!! i have raced for 30 years and have seen people push kids into racing even know they don't have natural talent,that's how these kids get killed, when parents try to live their dreams of racing thougth their kids regardless that they don't have the talent and have what it takes ,just the money and no brains!!!
I can understand why people want to put an age limit on auto racing but, that is like grouping everybody together no matter what their natural talent is. Some drivers are very young when they start to drive. It is a much smaller engine than the one that Kendall had but, that is how they learn. The people who have the natural talent have it in their "blood". No amount of training or even age can put people up to this level. Also, it seems to be that there is a family history of racing. They know from an extremely young age they are introduced into it. They are ( I am not sure how to put it) race wise. The people who are in these "extreme" sports would tell you the would rather die doing what they love (I know it is not a nice way to say it especially with somebody so young passing away). I heard a family friend of television say she would race till the day she died. He said she loved doing what she did and was aware of the dangers involved in it. He also said that she may have only lived 17 years but, she lived more than in those years than most people live in 90. I wish I could give you the exact quote but, I just managed to catch it on the television. Maturity depends on the person. I know a lot of 40 years olds that are more like 4 year olds. Each person is unique. If they are doing it on their own free will. Their family supports them (no matter what it is). Give it a shot. I am sure that after the invesigation there will be more safety measures and rule changes to try and stop this from happening agian. No offence to anybody else's opinion. This is mine. Wash car with 2 buckets of water, one 4 wash the other rinse. Wax & it will be as clean as a jet wash. Labour intensive but less water used.
