How does anyone feel about the new 1000 foot rule in NHRA?
I think it is a knee-jerk reaction to what happened to Scott. I'm all for driver safety, but this seems akin to a publicity stunt. If they want real results, then they should apply real pressure were it is needed. Mandating longer run-offs for all NHRA tracks would be one heck of a start. And the tracks that don't comply, loss their sanctioning.
