I use to be a “fan” I can pretty much take it or leave it these days. I may watch the first couple laps and as the Talledega race just the last 5 laps.
I am a racing fan though. Love motorcycle roadracing. My brother in-law is crew chief and head tuner for one of the top race teams. And we have a friend that races in the AMA series. I'm a huge fan of drag racing there are lots of good female racers.

Shit driver? Do you know what he does for a living? And if it's 2' celcius outside, it's not really ideal conditions to drive a car with what basically is race tires made for the street. Don't comment on things when you don't know anything…
Generally exhaust will give you about 15 hp if you go headers back. The k&n cold air intake will give you 3-5 hp. For substantial gains you are going to have to go with a turbo or a supercharger. If you really like the twisties go with what will give you more torque. But know that the s2000 selects it's driver. Its not exactly a car that everyone can drive to its fullest extent. (I would likely be one of them being a driver of a 87 rx-7.) Just make sure you build up for whatever you are doing so you don't blow anything because that would be a crime. Lightening of the car can help your times but make sure that you are balanced to your driving style. You probably already know that you should make sure that your suspension is upgraded at some point. Mobil 1 is a great synthetic oil to use for any car especially if your going to use it as a daily driver and a track car. Good luck, and make sure you upgrade all around and not just in one area.
