my car loses complete power sometimes after i turn off ignition! the light, clock, everything shuts down?
my headlight dims as well! I change the battery You may have a bad battery cable connection, or bad ground cable connection. Ignition coils can handle quite high power levels. On friday i drove the van as normal, got home, parked it, then a few hours later i tried to start it to go out again but it wouldn't start, even though there was some power there. I tried bump starting it, but that didn't work, then tried using jump leads and it worked, so used it, parked it, but now the ignition won't even turn over. There is no noise, no power, just silence.
