How long can you race with a stock crankshaft? And how do you know when its time to be replaced?

we have raced it for 2 years.
If you guys would be so kind as to give us a few details, you would get, at worse an educated guess as an answer. I am not just picking on you, but about 50% of the questions on this site are impossible to give a reasonable answer, due to lack of details.
Give:
Year, Make, model.
Type racing, or other use.
Modifications
If performance related, weight, and experience level of rider.
For any question, give all the info you have on the situation.You can not give to much, but one thing left out can make it impossible to even get close.
I have told several folks that Answers can be the best comic strip you can read. Lets make it into a real, useable, helpful site. I, and I know several others take great pride in helping folks, and do not like the unanserable questions. I have spent over 50 years of my life building racing, and repairing motorcycles. I am no wizard, or super man, but do know quite a bit about these things, most learned the hard way, from experience. It pleases me to be able to assist someone with less experience, and to teach then some of what I know. I think many of the folks who answer feel the same way. So, help us to help you, and we all learn.

Not knowing how long you run in a race, and how many a season, I will make a SWAG, in hours of running. An engine like this, I would recommend a crank replacement for each 50 hours of running. A crank failure is likely to take the cylinder, and maybe crankcase out with it, maybe even the head. The price of a crank is small, compared to the cases and cylinder. If it is at max revs for most of the time, this may be a bit high hours, if at max less than 25%, then likely safe for 75,maybe 100 hours. Hate to have to say it this way, often in racing, you do not know the limits till you blow a couple up. Keep notes of each race, you will be surprised how valuable they will be. An example - in the good old days of drag racing, a really good running Triumph 650 got rings about each month, valves, mains, and inserts - at least twice a season, Went too Sportster Strokers, Lap rods, fit new rod rollers, new mains, usually pistons and rings before start of season. Also valves if over a .400 lift cam was used. Mid season, new rings, lap valves, check anything. Big bore Kawasaki Z1 or KZ engines - build it and run it. Rings and check valves before leaving for
Bonneville. Time wise, average maintenance on Triumph - 8 hrs/meet. Sportster - 2 hrs/meet. Kawasaki - 15 minutes meet. Note, this is engine/drive numbers, rear chains, tires, sprockets, etc vary. Used a lot more tires on the Kaws.
